Job Overview: We are looking for a smart, enthusiastic student with experience in developing web applications looking for a co-op/internship opportunity for the spring of 2011 for a possible extension into the summer.
Job Description: This position involves building and testing web-based applications for our clients that deal primarily with healthcare quality data. The ideal candidate is able to build applications which are easy-to-use and easy-to-maintain, can apply best practices and standards where appropriate, without going overboard. We are looking for someone who is willing to dive in and learn a new skill when necessary. The successful applicant will be a self-starter who can manage their daily tasks, has a positive attitude, and demonstrates great attention to detail. He/she will also be an effective team player interested in the continued growth and success of our small company.
Job Qualifications: Experience with PHP or Ruby on Rails, MySQL, CSS and JavaScript. ASP.NET experience is a plus. Preferably, the candidate will have at least some experience with developing database-driven web applications, in any language/platform/database.
