Have you had any IT work experience while going to school?
I worked at Transportation Security Administration HQ as a Disability Program Specialist and Section 508 Compliant Officer in Washington DC in Summer 2007 and in Janesville at the School for the Blind as their IT intern over summer 2008.

Did you do anything fun this past summer? 
I went to Ireland in May for 3 weeks, and to New York for 3 weeks to work with children with disabilities, two weeks at Helen Keller National Center. It’s a training school to help deafblind people go to school and get a job and live on their own. One week at Camp Abilities helping deafblind children learn sports activities.

Are you involved in any student organizations?
I’m involved with Resident Life, Information Technology Assoication, and a few other dorm organizations.

What are your plans after graduating?  
I’m graduating next Dec and planning on to go to graduate school and purse a major in International Business because that goes well with Information Technology. I plan to purse a career at a Federal Government agency working with people with disabilities using technology.

I.T. Infrastructure

The information technology infrastructure (ITI ) program provides students with the skills to design, build, implement, administer, secure and maintain IT infrastructure/networking solutions. ITI majors learn network management, systems administration, hardware troubleshooting techniques, network and information security and resource management.

Listening to music, watching movies, reading, traveling, home improvement.

Interesting Tidbits:
I am an avid audiophile and used to modify vintage tube amps. I have close to 2,000 LPs and 1,500 CDs and SACDs in my collection
I produce and record classical and jazz recitals in purist, live-to-two-track approach
I am an instant interpreter between English and Chinese in business meetings.
